This article just proves to me that not only does the government need to stay out of our personal business, it also shows how ignorant they are if they really believe this will help someone trying to refinance their home. With home prices actually falling in some markets and credit as tight as it is (along with the extinction of the 100% mortgage to most buyers/refinanciers) this idea might work with 1 in 100 homeowners.
