I've noticed people who used to frequent RacersLounge regularly, they're strangers anymore.
Where are you "5dirtracing?"
Where are you "ValleyGirl?" You still claim to be an Angel?
Where are you "colesmom?" Did you move off to Nashville? I'm thinking that's what you said your plans were.
And "Cindy1dhf," if you don't check in ... you're not going to be eligible for the fantasy racing game. HA HA HA HA

You not driving a truck these days, Jason? Last I heard that's what you were doing.
Hey, what's your e-mail address? Recently I accidentally deleted some e-mail addresses, and yours was one of them.
Hey Jason, you better watch Bobby ... he'll be talking you into buying a Joey Lagano T-shirt, hat of jacket.
Bobby, I'm just kidding with you. But, man, where I have pulled for the No. 20 Home Depot car when Tony Stewart was driving it, I will not be pulling for it with Logano wheelin' it. As far as I'm concerned, he can go back up to Connecticut.

Hey Jason I cant say much for you driving a Nissan cause I will be driving a #39 Nissan 200sx in the Oure 4 class at LPR so Nissan I guess would be ok but nothing is like a Toyota Tundra.
RW you know you already orfered your Logano shirt, hat, and jacket. So you are going to be a closet fan mmmm thats ok I wont think any different of you when you come public about being a diehard Logano fan. Man I catch so much heck for being a Kyle Busch fan now I get it about Logano

Bobby,
I stopped having a favorite driver after Ernie Irvan nearly lost his life at MIS in 1994. I was a HUGE Irvan fan.
I like several drivers, including Earnhardt Jr., Kevin Harvick (RW's favorite too, LOL!!), Jimmy Johnson, Kyle Busch, and a few others.

Hey "BugMan," I've come around regarding Kevin Harvick and I kind of like him. The two main drivers I pull for are Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson.
Who watched two weekends ago the CMT Cribs show, where NASCAR drivers Harvick, Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch showed their homes and surroundings? That was a pretty eye-opening deal, showing just the kind of wealth these guys have amassed to date in their racing careers. All had unreal places, and their play toys were something else. Harvick had a very cool asphalt go-kart track, with lights and all. But while watching the show, it made me think of the racers' who paved the way years ago in the sport for these drivers today to earn the kind of money they do.
I also like Kyle Busch (I like his wide-open driving style), Mark Martin, Kasey Kahne, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Bobby Labonte, Casey Mears, Robby Gordon (Some may not agree with me, but I feel RG's a heckuva racing talent ... in anything he climbs behind the wheel of), Elliott Sadler and David Ragan (who will win his first Cup race in 1999).
I don't pull for Roush Fenway drivers Carl Edwards or Matt Kenseth. I've been around Edwards a couple of times, and I just believe when he's in public he's a "fake." Just last week, when a buddy of mine was over covering the NASCAR Media Tour, the day they'd been to Roush Fenway to visit with the "Cat in the Hat" Jack Roush and drivers, as he and a friend of his that was with him were together I asked if they'd gotten "Mr. Fake's" autograph. My buddy said to his friend, "Robert just called Carl Edwards 'Mr. Fake,' and they both cracked up. Jeff told me Dewayne had said earlier that day when they were at Roush Fenway, "Carl Edwards is nothing by a fake with his 'Mr. Good Guy Attitude.' " I'm sure everybody remembers the incident at Martinsville with Edwards and Kenseth, when Edwards acted like he was going to punch Kenseth and Matt flinched. That right there was Carl acting like the "nieghborhood bully." Much more of a deal internally at Roush Fenway was made over that than was released publically. From info I was told, Jack Roush really had a stern sit-down talk with Edwards over that deal. A guy I've gotten to know pretty well at Roush Fenway over the last five years, due to his love of dirt late model (and dirt late model diecast cars) racing and my involvement with dirt racing, he tells me stuff when we talk on the phone every couple of weeks or so.
It's not that I dislike him, but I just don't pull for Jeff Burton. There's just something about his personality I don't care for. He kind of (at least that's how I pereceive it) comes across sometimes as a smart-aleck. He's easy-going and all, but I've noticed at times when he's interviewed he's sometimes kind of short answer-wise with the media, and I don't like that. I guess the main thing about JB I like is he's a huge Duke Blue Devils basketball fan. I like the Blue Devils, but heck, I also like the North Carolina Tar Heels too. Whichever team wins when they meet, I'm OK with it. I like the tradition behind both programs. As I've said before, I really do love college football and basketball. My cousin plays basketball and baseball for Milligan College, he's a freshman. I've been to several Milligan games this season. Even though Milligan is an NAIA school, the ball played is pretty good.
I give credit where it's due, and during his career Rusty Wallace had wins, poles and one championship. But I never did like Rusty. I never heard him admit to any involvement in an accident, but he was one always quick to point fingers and accuse others.

Nah Bobby, I"m not a closet Joey Logano fan. I'm not a fan period. So don't hold you breath Bobby, thinking I'll come public at anytime in the future regading Logano. He's where he's at in his racing career today because of an overzealous father. Tom groomed Joey for a racing career (and he's not the first dad who has, either). Let me back up and say, Joey does have a lot of racing talent, but he was pushed along in his early days of racing by his father. I'm just not for these young kids in racing (I really believe a lot of longtime race fans have gotten turned off from the sport due to all of these young teenage drivers coming into the sport). I'm sorry, that's just how I feel. Before all's said and done, we'll be having daycare centers at racetracks for the young racers.

Hey "Mr. Haney" and "BugMan," we've still not heard from "ValleyGirl." Y'all reckon she's being a good girl and staying out of T-R-O-U-B-L-E? "Mr. Haney," being you don't live far from her, maybe you oughta go check on her well-being. I'd hate for her to lose her Angel status?
Where oh where, are you tonight "ValleyGirl?"

Hey, you know what's wild? While on the computer last night, I also was writing out checks for my cell and water bills. I wrote 1999 on the water bill, but I noticed it and tore that check up and wrote another one.
Then what do I do? I type 1999 in the post saying David Ragan will win a race in 1999.
You're Detective Bobby Gobble, on the scene. You caught me red-handed, I'm guilty of typing 1999.

Hey man, no talkin' smack here. It's all in fun.
I'll chalk your mistake up to you being in mourning over your Kentucky Wildcats getting beat by the lowly Mississippi Rebels last night. I couldn't believe that, especially with all of the injuries the Ole Miss Rebels have sustained this year. Is it not wild how three starters all suffered torn ACL's, on the same knee.
I admitted above I made the mistake last night while writing a couple of checks, writing 1999. But I noticed I'd written 1999, and tore the one check up. I guess I just had the year 1999 in my head, and while typing saying David Ragan would win a race this year (2009), I mistakenly typed 1999.
Hey, like Prince sings "Gonna Party Like It's 1999." HA HA HA HA

Hey "BugMan," I'm going to buy you a ROBBY GORDON T-shirt. HA HA HA HA
Robby Gordon is a racer!!! Put him in an Indy Car, NASCAR Cup, Nationwide or Truck, Off-Road Truck or Buggy, and a dirt Late Model. Coming off running the Dakar Rally, I saw where last weekend Gordon won out in the desert of Nevada in an Off-Road Rally.
He drove the wheels off Scott Bloomquist's dirt Late Model last summer in the Prelude to the Dream at Eldora Speedway ... the first time he'd ever sat in a dirt Late Model. He was closing fast on Tony Stewart at the finish. Bloomquist told me if he'd had radios and could have told Robby to move up the track sooner, Robby would've driven off from Stewart. Bloomquist and some of his guys were waving their arms and motioning for Robby to move up the track. Finally he caught a glimpse of Scott and he moved up the track.

Bugman - you're a Kyle "show my butt Bush-brother" fan???? Now I'm the one barfing .... the kid has had his ears pinned back too tight, caused that attitude he has. Back in the day, I think one of the guys would've clocked him and his brother for the way they like to show their butts over everything. LOL!
I wonder what kinda drugs they must give Tony S. to keep his temper under control with his "butt brother" team mate?
RW- you must've had a really good year back in '99 for it to stick in your brain ... hee, hee, hee. On second thought, maybe I shouldn't ask! Probably involved small animals ....
Yeah, I'm back. Not in prime form yet. It's been a rough last 18 months. Bugman knows the scoop. I'm just trying to keep things positive, even though I don't feel like it anymore. I just feel lost. Maybe when we get back to racing, I'll start to feel better.

RRRRRREEEEEEEEDLINEEEEE!!!!!!
Welcome back!
BTW silly Willy...Stewart and Kyle aren't teammates anymore...Tony and Newman are driving for Tony's new team, Stewart-Haas Racing.
Funny thought though...one has their ears pinned back too tight and before some surgery, the other didn't have em pinned back far enough

Glad to see you back on here "redlinefever." I wondered about you. I hate hearing about it being a rough past several months for you.
Hey "redlinefever," besides as you mentioned about "BugMan" ... him being a a Kyle "show my butt Bush-brother" fan. He's also a fan of Bertha, one of those "butt-sisters." HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
