I heard from "raceparrot" today and he's in the Johnson City Medical Center. He'd been sick of late, had a bad cold and it got down in his chest and I guess it finally developed into pneumonia like symptoms, which cause him to ultimately be hospitalized.

The last I'd talked with him was a couple of weeks ago on Yahoo messenger, and he mentioned to me then he'd been under the weather with the flu (at least I guess he thought what he had was the flu).

He told today he's got "stuff" in his lung space, and the "stuff's" caused the lower lobe of his left lung to collapse. He's also developed  a heart murmur, but he says they're thinking it's possibly caused by the lung deal. They plan on draining out all the built-up fluid and then treat the heart murmur if it's still in place.

Anyway, "raceparrot's" a good ol' guy. He told me it looks like he'll be hospitalized for up to 7 days.

Everyone be sure and remember him in your thoughts and prayers.

Hey all,

Thanks so much for sending the good vibes and prayers my way.  I am recovering at home and doing fine.  I just had some absesses in my left lung that was left over from some pneumonia.  They had also caused my heart to go into A-Fibb.  I have been on straight anti-biotics for a month, and they drained the stuff out while I was in the hospital.  I also went yesterday and had my heart "shocked" back into normal rythm.  I also quit smoking during this process.

As I said, I am home and recovering well, and  I have put on about 10 pounds that I needed too....LOL!

Thanks Again,

Gary
