I've got my bracket filled out, too.

And in the words of "Tinkfan75" ... GO VOLS!!! HA HA HA ... Hey man, I'm just havin' a lil' fun with you. I believe you know that.

Don't ever accuse me of not supporting the Vols. I've got 'em picked to beat Oklahoma State, then Pittsburgh. GO VOLS!!!

First off, indeed thanks goes to Shawn for taking his time to set this NCAA bracket up.

Man, I really thought VCU would pull off the upset and beat UCLA. And they almost did, losing by just one point. So I lost that game.

I picked 9-seed Butler to beat 8-seed LSU, and I lost that game.

I also picked Illinois to beat Western Kentucky, and the Hilltoppers pulled off the upset. I lost that game.

I picked Clemson to beat Michigan, and the Wolverines beat the Tigers. Yet another loss for me.

But I correctly picked all other games on Thursday.

Did anyone correctly pick all game-winners on Thursday?

The Tennessee Vols play today (Friday) at 12:25 p.m. and then ETSU Bucs play at 2:45 p.m. GO BUCS and GO VOLS!!!

Man, what about that guy from Morgan State tossin' Blake Griffin? That looked like a WWE move to me. Then the Clemson player getting ejected for throwing that wild elbow. There's no place in the game for actions like those. Wild, swingin' elbows can be very dangerous. I forget now the game back during the regular season (I'm thinking a Conference USA game, though), but a wild elbow shattered a player's jaw. Come to think of it, I believe it was a player from Southern Miss who threw the elbow.

I picked several 1st round upsets, but most of the ones I picked would run into a buzzsaw second round anyway. The bracket is set up that way this season...in other words, very few if any Sweet 16 surprises. Like you RW, I picked VCU and lost...I really thought they's win.

Memphis needs to look out for Maryland. I think I picked Memphis in this bracket, but I assigned Maryland 52 out of a possible 64 in the "points" contest I play. In that contest, I didn't lose anyone important yesterday.

Villanova...wow! I thought they were in BIG trouble, but they just seemed to fire up the jets and blew on by American.

Hittin the road to the Outer Banks to take Sammy home from his post-war leave...catch ya'll l8r 2day on the laptop.

"James K," you're da man!!!!!

I guess with this past weekend's season opener at Lonesome Pine Raceway, the Pickin' Parlor was deserted this past week.

I started to post related to the Final Four weekend leading up to the games, but didn't.  

Anyway, I loved seeing Michigan State beat Connecticut Saturday ... and likewise I enjoyed seeing the North Carolina Tar Heels beat Villanova to make it to the championship game. With the teams in the Final Four, most definitely I wanted to see the Tar Heels win the title.

It was great seeing UConn get beat Saturday, and it'd be even greater to see the UConn women lose in the women's championship game Tuesday night. But I'm sure not holding my breath thinking that will happen. Those UConn girls are tough!!!!!
