If you are fortunate enough to have a job in this economy, and able to make ends meet, please consider adopting a child that may not have a Christmas via the Angel Tree program.

I'm happy to say that Helen and I have adopted a 7 yo boy in our local community to help provide a great Christmas.  Not only will this young man get to enjoy a Christmas with cheer and gifts, but Helen and I are being rewarded with the joy we have of being able to go shopping and know that what we are spending is going to a child that needs it.

So, if you've never done it, please try it, and if you have, please continue.  No child should ever have to go without Christmas, without needed clothes, shoes, coats, etc.

The Angel Tree is one program that my family and I hold dear to our hearts. Each year God has blessed us so that we could be a blessing to someone else. It's this time of year that being a blessing to someone or some child that is in need that really has it's earthly rewards. It makes you stop and thank God for the many blessing that he has given you and your loved ones, you know life happens and it is only by the grace of God that you and I aren't the ones in need. As Oldpro stated above if God has blessed you and your family this year and you are able to help, please, please consider helping this great cause. I can promise you that you will not regret it, and the rewards and blessings of bringing a smile to a Childs face will only be part of the blessings that you will receive.

After all the only thing you take to heaven with you after you leave this life is what you gave away. I have never seen a hearse pulling a U-Haul trailer behind it.
