This trip will be almost surreal. I moved here from there.

This will be my first time back. My new job requires that I go there for a week of advanced training...it ought to be interesting!

I missed it Woo-Woo...had to go to WV...this is Josh's next to last weekend before heading to Vilseck, Germany, then on to Afghanistan for a year. I met him in Huntington and we had a big cookout at Mom's in his honor.

I just read RW's press release. It sounded quite interesting, particularly at the beginning. I also read about the SS and the Pure-4 races. Sounded like a few didn't want that ole boy to win the race, hehehe!

I also read where Michael McGuire came down for the race. They just keep getting younger and younger don't they? The kid that won was a young-un too. That's really interesting to me.

Those kids can actually open up an interesting market of newbies to the track, which presents an interesting theory to me. When they're that young, they either have to get their family (or an older friend) to drive them to the track. With regards to their entire family, that could be some serious numbers.

I missed it toooooooooooo!!! With this head cold I didn't want to make it worse in the night air. Was sooooooooooo hoping it would be a day race.

Wonder if the winner had to use a booster seat to seat out the windshield. Know of one driver that used a cushion in the racing seat when he raced at KS!!!!

LOL!!!!

Seriously though, if the kids get interested and the family and/or extended family wasn't all that interested before, that's a bunch of new fans that can be created by the younger guns racing. Since there's really no "Little League" series, the choices are limited. Even Karts aren't really an option for just really young kids per-say, because all ages run there too.
