The FASTRAK dirt late model series takes on its first ever 4 day weekend of racing beginning the “EAST COAST RUMBLE” as a new weekend for the series. In addition each race will be counted as 2 events per race to qualify for the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP. Plus over $60,000 in prize money!!!

It all begins at Beckley Speedway in Beckley, WV on Friday September 4th. The event pays $2000 to win - $250 to start with the “State of West Virginia Late Model Championship”. Beckley is the famed 5/16ths mile speedway where the World Championship was held in 2012 and 2013, The USA 100 got started and so many other famous events. Now under the management of Rick Strattis and family the track has become better and stronger each and every weekend. Strattis is quick to say his FASTRAK events at the speedway have been his most successful to date. One day show Friday only, the RUMBLE begins.

Unfortunately, we have recently learned of the closing of Beckley Speedway. Due to this we are now looking for a track to replace this race on Friday night. If you are a track and would be interested, please give us a call at 678-935-7304.

Then on September 5th the $60,000 weekend moves on to I-77 speedway in Ripley WV to join up with Carl Shorts 47th annual “Hillbilly 100” and Forest Lucas “Lucas Oil Dirt Late Model Series”. The crate (FASTRAK) portion of the event will pay $5000 to the winner and $300 to start. It will be the first time the FASTRAK tour has ever been to I-77 and with the great local teams, some of the Lucas drivers plus the FASTRAK Touring driver’s, this is set to be one of the best shows all year.

Then the teams make their way right down interstate 77 to the high banks super speedway of Rural Retreats most popular visitor site on September 6th, Wythe Raceway. Known as one of the raciest half miles in dirt racing today, Wythe Raceway is a 48 year old wonder literally built into the side of a mountain. In the evening right before race time the sunset and the mountains in the background are one of the most beautiful backdrops in all of racing. One of them most consistent surfaces in all of racing, it’s a super speedway that offers 3 and 4 wide racing all night.

Then 4 hours down 26 or 77 back down to Travelers Rest Speedway in Travelers Rest SCc on September 7th the final race of the weekend with the “SC State Championship”. Scott Childress has brought TR back to life once again with a $2000 to win $200 to start FASTRAK late model series event. Childress a former driver in FASTRAK himself is looking forward to this event and especially the Grand Finale at his speedway. FASTRAK hasn’t been at TR in years so the homecoming of the series at TR will be one huge event. Be sure to get there early as it’s certain to be a sell-out crowd.
