Hey all! It's been a while since I've posted but I was remembering that a few people on here mentioned they were ham radio operators and I was wondering who they were. Yesterday, I actually took and passed the tech test and am waiting to be placed in the FCC database.
Can't wait to start transmitting.

Sadly, I still am lol. I probably will be there for quite a while...maybe a year or two...maybe four. So I'm in for the long-haul. They are lucky if they get 5 months out of an employee it seems lol. Anyone want a free drink or taco just stop by...I'll have to smuggle it...haha

I happen to eat Taco Bell quite frequently. It's convenient to where I live, plus I like the food.
If the company's only lucky to get five months out of an employee, son, stick with them (company) and you'll be a manager before you know it.

Those new Chicken Burritos for 89 cents are really good. When I first ordered them I got them without the avocado(sp?) ranch being as it didn't sound good.
I liked it, but thought it was a little dry, and I thought man these would be real good with some regular ranch on them.
The other day I forgot to mention the order without the avocado ranch and that was the best mistake I ever made. For 89 cents, you cant beat a better taste nor value than the Chicken burrito.
BTW hows that cheesy potato burrito or whatever it is?

The cheesy bacon burrito? Let me tell ya, we have some EXCELLENT bacon! I like to take it and grill it on the casadilla grill...mmmmmm. But anyway, the burrito itself comes with beef, bacon, sour cream, potatoes, and nacho cheese. I made myself one the other day and it was great but it started getting mushy once I ate about half of it. But I think I put too much nacho cheese or sour cream on it. It's pretty big, by the way and it's worth trying.
The new chicken burrito and chicken soft taco have a newer, and probably cheaper chicken on them. They are very popular but we always joke about the chicken because it looks slimy. But all kinds of people like them. I tried the burrito with the avocado ranch sauce and I thought it was pretty good but about half way through, I started to turn against it. lol
One of the good things about working at Taco Bell is that you have so much to eat while you are working, taking a break, etc. All of our food is made-to-order and we have two kinds of chicken, steak, beef, rice, beans, nachos, nacho cheese, red sauce, pizza sauce, lettuce, 3 blend cheese, cheddar, tomatoes, fiesta salsa, salsa, sour cream, quacamole, volcano sauce, jalapeno sauce, avacado ranch sauce, and more. lol You can always make something different.
