Okay auto experts.

For the fourth time in the past hour or 2, Sammy's car alarm has inexplicably activated. I have reset it, locked it back up, and it still goes off. This time I've left it unlocked, thinking that it won't arm itself unless it is locked.

2002 Acura RSX...no remote...key locks/unlocks.

HELLLLPPP!!!! The neighbors have to be irritated by now.

Yep... there's a short or something I would think. or somewhere something is tripping it. Could it be vibration? Moisture? A rodent lodged in the vehicle somewhere??

Sounds like an expert needs to get a hold of it. Electrical stuff stinks!

Unhook the battery till you take it to a shop. Won't fix the problem but at least the neighbors won't shoot ya.

if the car battery is low it will keep triggering alarm also.  if its aftermarket alarm , the main unit for it has a adjustment for sensitivity also.  have seen if the door ajar light is on , you might have a problem with the door lock and it will keep setting alarm off. hope that helps.

Thanks a bunch...we've just been leaving it unlocked and hemmed in for now...got worse problems on "Big Ben"...the left front air shock keeps going down...from what I'm being told, my only option is replacing it...I'm still reeling over the price on that one.
