My best friend has been laid off from his job for about six months.  When he tried to get that Obama refinance through Bank of America, they said "no go" because his unemployment check was too low.  Turns out we get paid a lot less unemployment than some places and they use a scale that is nationwide instead of by the state where the owner and home are located.  Pretty stupid if you ask me. 

And the idiots in gov. keep flapping their jaws on tv wondering why the foreclosure rate is the highest in the nation.  Duh!

Unemployment is still at 12% around here.  It is a real shocker to drive down "dealer row" in Gainesville and see more empty buildings and empty car lots than I have ever seen.

Jobs are getting as scarce as hen's teeth! The HVAC company that Josh worked for first file Chapter 11 and found out yesterday they have filed Chapter 7. They owe several workers back pay.

Just wonder what this year will bring! For some reason the 1930's popped into my mind. Wonder why?

Naw, there ain't no crooked politicians driving the bus!  They just want their "fair share" - hmmm.... yeah, this bank fills this pocket and that oil company fills the other one and hee, hee, hee the fools that elect us never know any difference .. can't prove a thing!

Some of those old farts have been in congress so long, they look older than the dirt on the front lawn!  I passed CSPAN flipping channels at my kids one day and seen one old fart flapping his jaws and then he fell sound asleep still standing!!!  If it were one of us working for him and we did that, we would be fired!

Nah, she didn't burn me. Funny thing is, she didn't even warm me up. LOL LOL LOL

I told her when she and I were talkin' on the phone the day after I'd posted about her being born in the 1930s, that I hope I always stay OLDer than her. Because if I don't, it means I'm six-feet under takin' a "dirt nap." And I'm just not ready yet to take a dirt nap. HA HA HA
