Hey ya'll. I'm back after a long time away from here.
The last couple of years have truly been the worst. My mom had taken ill with a simple urinary tract infection. After 18 months of doctor visits every three weeks and all kinks of different meds, she became very ill and I put her in the hospital. She was very physically fit, could do circles around my cousins in their gym workouts.
The great doctor - the best around here, hah! Seems he discovered she had stage four bladder cancer and he just acted as if he wiped dirt off his jacket. I could have punched him through the hospital room window! Arrgghh.
Mom fought the battle and was beating the cancer. But Dr. Dingbat neglected her and put off her immediate needs for catheter replacement - giving specific instructions to the cancer staff and the hospital that only HE could fix the catheter issues. This turned into a septic infection that killed her within a few days.
I spent the last year in a deep depression, losing her so fast because of someone's stupidity and ignorance. If only he had sent her across the street from his office to have a 3D image, he would have found the cause of the entire problem many months in advance. 18 months of different meds did not do anything but prolong her ever growing pain.
We were very close, as most of you know. Amazing how much her family has treated me like crap. There was never an offer to help her when she was sick, but the sure helped themselves to what she left behind. I was an only child and all my life they never treated me this way or raised their voice over anything! All I have gotten was some of her furniture and personal stuff. I am sure she would have not made them executors of her estate had she known what they were going to do.
I figure they'll get theirs when they have to answer to the man upstairs. Greed runs deep in some people. When they said I needed to pay $10000 or more in bills, I told them to eat some green paper and hope it comes out in hundreds. Had I known they were going to sell her property for almost $40000 less than the tax appraisal, I would have had them removed as executors. Pretty sneaky to wait until 2 weeks before closing to tell me to clear out her belongings. Can't get into court to stop the sale that fast. Just one of many stunts they pulled on me.
And that Dr. Dingbat, well the State of Fl had just revised the law about malpractice a month before I put her in the hospital. I can't do anything to that jerk. No wonder he was so smug and smiled when he said "oops, guess I gave her too many pills, huh?" Felt like smoke was coming out my ears when he said those words - !!!
My mission, to find out how to repeal a law that I think is unconstitutional. This will be interesting. Also, there is no protocol when it comes to treating women with bladder illness. Just a stab in the dark and a lot of pills. Amazing how many women have died in the last couple of years from this same type of treatment.
For my mom, I am trying to find out how to make a change that helps more people, not hurt them.
And when Little E. feels like he's not alone on the track, it's mom telling him how to drive - LOL! She loved Dale Jr. and wanted to visit his shop and meet him. Too bad that never happened.
