I'm loving the warm weather "WOO-WOO!" I'm ready for it to warm up even more. It was mid-80s today and is supposed to be tomorrow also.
I know we'll have some cold weather still this spring, but feeling the warmth like today (after long, cold and snowy winter) is GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Whew, my allergies have already kicked in, with everything beginning to bloom out. But I'll put up with allergies, I'm just glad it's warm.
I'm also glad to know my electric bill will be decreasing, too. I know I'm not the only one that's paid their highest electric bills ever this winter.
All around my neighborhood here in west Johnson City, the Bradford Pear and Redbud trees (I guess that's what they're called), and these different flowers are really coming to life.
Hey "WOO-WOO," even though it was mid-80s today ... I wore a hooded pullover sweatshirt. I had to go to dentist, and I had a feeling the air would be on in that building and it would feel like being in Alaska. Sure enough it was, and I'm glad I had the sweatshirt on.
I met my two sisters, an aunt and uncle, to eat out in north Johnson City at Harborhouse Seafood, and sure enough the air was on cold enough in there to freeze meat. It's crazy!!!! I told our waiter I'd really appreciate it if he'd talk to his boss, or whomever, and see if the air could be turned down. My sisters and aunt also thought it was kind of chilly, but my uncle didn't. But he's also got a big belly on him and much more (body) insulation on him, and he said it wasn't cool enough for him. I told him he could take his platter of food once it arrived and go sit by himself back in the cooler and eat if he wanted to. HA HA HA
After the cold and snowy winter we've had, don't expect to hear me complain about it being too hot. I never complain about hot weather, never have. I feel much better when it's warm weather. I'd rather sweat anyday versus having cold-chill bumps on my skin.
