WOW what a night last night in the NBA Draft. Kentucky had 5 players drafted in the first round. John Wall become the first UK player to ever be drafted #1 went to Washington, DeMarcus Cousins went #5 to Sacramento, Patrick Patterson went #14 to Houston, Eric Bledsoe went #18 to Oklahoma City, and Daniel Orton went #29 to Orlando. Keep in mind 4 of them 5 only were Freshmen. What a group Coach Cal put together

That was quite amazing Bobby, but I have a question.

If this trend (of recruiting highly talented Freshmen who win 30+ games but no championship, then jump ship to the NBA after one year) continues, will the Big Blue Nation actually live with that? I think winning championships is paramount there, and I don't think they'll put up with it after a few years.

I'd be shocked if they ever put 5 recruits on the court that were more talented than these 5 were...heck, Orton was actually the 6th man on that team.
