It's a very sad day today. I just read about Eastman Kodak nearly bankrupt and about to go under. I can speculate on why they're going under by saying it's the economy, bad management or the digital revolution takes another one. All of these are probably true but I think it's just another barometer of how our country is losing it's grip on our standard of living. Kodak has been imbedded into the A...merican fabric for at least a century and provided a high standard of living for many people in our region. I feel almost like my parent is on life support. It's probably too little too late but I think we should all go out and buy something "yellow" with the Kodak name on it today and give this company some "economic" mouth to mouth and get it going again. We can't afford to lose any more American companies like Kodak. What a crying shame!

When I think back
On all the crap I learned in high school

Kodachrome
They give us those nice bright colors

I love to take a photograph

Eastman Kodak Co. said today that it will stop making digital cameras, pocket video cameras and digital picture frames, marking the end of an era for the company that brought photography to the masses more than a century ago.
