Lonesome Pine set for Doubleheader Weekend with Kingsport

COEBURN – Racing fanatics from throughout the region are in for a treat this weekend. Both Kingsport Speedway and Lonesome Pine Raceway are set for their second races of the season.

LPR waves the second green flag this Saturday, April 19 with Late Model Stock Car, Street Stock, Mod-4, Pure-4, Rookie Pure-4, Pure Street and Iron Warriors divisions racing.

Pit gates open Saturday at 1 p.m., grandstand gates open at 4 p.m. and the racing action begins at 7 p.m. Adult admission is $10 with children 12 and under admitted for free.

Multiple drivers are preparing for double-duty this weekend. And it is sure to be an exciting weekend of racing in Southwest Virginia and Northeast Tennessee!

Sister racetrack Kingsport Speedway is gearing up for their first Friday night event. Pit gates open at 12 p.m., grandstands open at 5:30 p.m. and racing begins at 8 p.m.
