FASTRAK and Lavonia Speedway & Entertainment Complex Prepares for Great Race Season in 2014
**FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE** November 20th, 2013 FASTRAK PR
(Carnesville, Georgia) – Lavonia Speedway & Entertainment Complex located in Georgia opened up for the 1st time in nearly four years of being dormant in 2013. The racing was phenomenal and a lot of work and efforts went into making the 3/8th mile clay oval have a successful reopening. After the conclusion of 2013 and dealing with many rain outs by Mother Nature everyone is certainly stoked and excited for 2014 to get here. We are happy to announce that the management of both FASTRAK and Lavonia are prepared for an even better 2014 race season sanctioning the City Chevrolet Pro Late Models.
“FASTRAK is the best racing around for everyone in dirt racing or racing in general.” commented Brad York – Lavonia General Manager. “We miss Max King everyday but he and Stan Lester hooking up and bringing life back into this place was the best thing for this area. Lester and Max’s wife Sara King are in agreement to continue the legacy that Max wanted with Lavonia Speedway. We have got a lot of big plans in the works to make 2014 even exciting for the drivers, teams and fans. We have big races planned for the weekly stars including on the touring regional or national level in 2014. We’ve dealt with a lot of rain outs in 2013 but when we raced the excitement on the new racing surface that Lewis Martin has worked on was awesome for the track. I can’t wait for 2014 it looks to be more interesting for the FASTRAK City Chevrolet Weekly Pro Late Models.” concluded Brad York.
The 2014 FASTRAK and Lavonia Schedule is still in the works but however we can add that Lavonia will have the return of the March spectacular “Late Model Mania “ in for the FASTRAK City Chevrolet Southeast Touring Division Series and ULTIMATE Super Late Models Series. Also there will be a possibility of a few more races for the FASTRAK Touring Series during the 2014 schedule. However it will conclude the regular racing season at Lavonia Speedway & Entertainment Complex in September with the “Georgia Topless Championships” formally known as the GA State Championships. 2014 is certainly going to be BIGGER and more EXCITING than the 2013 race season. That’s all we can say for now but there’s a lot of things into works even before the end of the year.
