Just when you think they have sunk to a low time low and can't go no lower, THEY DO!!

Reading the Kingsport Times paper this morning and came across the article that the EPA has come up with to charge beef, dairy and hog farmers a fee for air pollution! Gonna charge them for their cows and hogs belching and "passing gas"!!! 

 American Farm Bureau Federation said that based on federal agriculture department figures that farms or ranches with more than 25 dairy cows, 50 beef cows or 200 hogs to pay annual fee of about $175.00 for each dairy cow, $87.50 per head of beef cows and $20.00 per hog.

This has left me "almost" speechless!! Goverment wanting to charge for a "natural body function" of an animal is beyond ridicules!!! We will be next!!! 25 cents to belch-50 cents to "phart"! But just think how many the government will have to hire for "B" & "F" monitors for the USA!!! That should take just about everyone OFF WELFARE!!!!! Now they get to pay TAXES!!! Even more money for the government to put another Port-A-Potty or two in outer space!!

All American Farmer should take about a 2 year "vacation" from raising fruits and vegetables, milking cows, raising beef cows, chickens, turkey, wheat, corn and everything connected to our basic survival and see how long we would survive. Farmers are the "BACKBONE " of this country, I think, and the goverment needs to see just how we could do without them for awhile!!
