Hey Bobby, did you see this topic http://www.racerslounge.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=13721&PN=1 here on the Pickin' Parlor forum? Being it was down inside another topic, I thought you might have overlooked it. So I'm starting a new post for you (Bobby) and Forest to see it.

"OldPro" would do a good job wheelin' the No. 39 GGR ride.

RW you need to make a trip from Nashville to LPR and drive the GGR #39 Nissan for Forrest and myself

I kindly thank you for the offer, that's awesome GGR would let me wheel the No. 39. But Bobby and Forest, let me propose this: How about letting "OldPro" come drive your car at Lonesome Pine Raceway one Saturday night?

"OldPro's" got racing experience, on dirt at Smoky Mountain Speedway and at 411 Speedway. He hosts RacersLounge for all of us to communicate with one another. He also hosts the LPR Web site for all of you racers.

"OldPro" is who lives in Nashville. I'm sure if GGR would let him wheel your race car, he'd come to visit LPR one weekend this summer. So what do you guys say, Bobby and Forest?

Yeah that would be neat one weekend. Looks like the 39 car could have a variety of drivers with real good racing reseme's in it this year, could be interesting

Forrest you know its looks awsome for the GGR 39 car man. We have got a host of drivers in line to make some circles in the 39 car. I plan to run atleast 2 races then Forrest might drive the car couple times also. We have talked with Brad Ball, Mike Collins, and another driver who will be named later so "Oldpro" get hold of Forrest or myself and lineup a date to get in the car.

I'd be honored to drive the 39.  Only problem I have is distance.  It's a long haul from Nashville to Coburn and back.

Bobby, I appreciate the hospitality.  If there is a chance I make it up there, I'll let you and Forrest know asap.  If I do make it, we'll have another Racerslounge picnic/party/whatever like we had the last time I made it up.  Except, this time, Lynn isn't leaving until I get to meet him in person!

Yep... That is a fact OldPro.  A lot of our forum members wouldn't believe this.... but as much as Mike and I work together on things, as long as we have known each other, and as good a friends as we are, (and I honestly consider Mike Copeland to be one of my best friends), we have never gotten to meet in person. We do a lot of stuff together.... from a distance.  Definitely, a RacersLounge picnic would be great, and I think that we just might be able to arrange for that at LPR this season. That would be an excellent night for Mike to put his driving suit back on, and he'd make a danged good "Grand Marshal" for the evening, too.

I agree  Lynn, I would also like to meet Mike also.    I appreciate all the things that Mike and Lynn do behind the scenes for all of us and for LPR.     THANK YOU guys for all you do.

"OldPro" really is a super-good person!!!

Knowing him, I'm sure he'll find the time to get away one weekend and drive from Nashville up to Coeburn, Va., and chauffeur the GGR ride.
