1. Self check-outs-why should I have to ring up my own purchases while someone is being paid to watch me. IF THEY CAN PAY SOMEONE TO STAND AND WATCH, THAT PERSON SHOULD BE RUNNING A REGISTER.

2. Drivers who will NOT move over out of the right lane on a multiple lane highway when others are attempting to get on the road.

3. Servers at restaurants who can't keep a tea glass filled.

I have several more but would like to hear some from others.......

I like self-checkouts so I don't have to deal with the slow people who ring you up. It's a heck of a lot quicker if I just do it myself and when I get home, I know where everything is bagged and that it was bagged properly.

Funny you should mention #2. Just ten minutes ago, I was trying to merge and this car refused to move over so I just kept on driving next to him on the shoulder. He still didn't even know I was there. People like that make me so mad! I should've pulled a little Junior move on him. lol. I should've honked but for some reason it didn't occur to me to do so.

I actually like the self check outs too because their much quicker. But, things I don't like are:

1. People that throw cigarette butts out of their car...they'll smoke in their car but will throw the butt out. That makes NO sense to me.

2. People that don't use turn signals...there on the car for a reason...USE THEM!

3. People that will sit at a redlight and when it changes to green...they STILL sit there...pay attention people, green means go. Do we need spotters on the road way yelling "green green green"?

well lets  see here

i love  the self check outs   they are faster   and real convient

they  are there  for people to use  but people dont have to use them

the self check out attendant is there  to hellp people  that need help like getting thier tobacco products   and if the self check outs tears up she is there to fix it

now what i hate

1 ) people that do less than  40 mph in the fast lane

2) people driving in the passing lane

3) people dont use turn signals

4) and people that use them but  dont turn them off when they turn

and the last one

5) nascar  sprint cup and nationwide and truck series

for changing all the rules on them

i think they should bring in   nissan  mistibishi  porche bmw and mercedes and volkswagon   since they can bring in toyotas

1. I hate it when people drive 30 mph in a 55 mph zone. Could always try a sling-shot move around them, but my poor little Geo doesn't wanna go that fast anyway.

2. People going 35 mph with the left blinker on for five miles.

3. This applies to the service industry, but man, it would absolutely eat me up if we closed at 11 and had customers at 10:59 because we'd already shut down the grills and such and would have to restart them.

4. People cussing me out for no reason.

Healthy people who park in the Handicapped spaces

Drivers who don't understand what the right lane on an interstate is for.

Drivers who don't proceed into the intersection before making a left turn.

Drivers who proceed into the intersection to make a left turn that try to back up into the turn lane when the light turns red...This just in, you have the intersection! You are still legal! Make the left! Don't kill the dude in the turn lane behind you because you don't understand the rules!

Drivers who can carry on a conversation with the person next to them but can't talk on their mobile phones and drive at the same time...GET A HEADSET!

Shoppers who take 8,352 items to the "20 items or less" aisle.

Shoppers who go to the self check-out, then get miffed because their box of Band-Aids was too light, then stand in confusion when the electronic voice keeps saying "Please place the item in the bag". TAP THE BOTTOM WITH YOUR HAND!!!

Sports fans who blame the coach every single time they lose a game. NEWSFLASH: They're not the ones playing the game!!!

INconvenience stores (need I say more?)

People who stare at you like they're gonna kill you cos they think you took a peek at their girlfriend.

People who can't tell a story without injecting a few sensationalist fibs that you know just can't be true.

18 Wheelers that throw a small party in the left lane while passing other 18 Wheelers.

People who eat and talk with their mouth open. What's with that anyway? Do they think it's "see-food"?

Parents who either cannot or will not control their children in public places.

INconvenience store clerks who leave just about enough coffee to fill a crack-pipe during morning rush.

Servers that bring you sweet tea with lemon when you clearly ordered "Sweet tea, NO lemon!"

People who need a calculator to figure their dinner tip.

One word...Tailgaters!

Drivers who wouldn't pass on a broken yellow if you offered them your lotto winnings.

Shoppers who talk loudly on their mobile phones while standing in line or eating in a restaurant. WE DON'T CARE THAT YOUR COUSIN'S THREE-YEAR-OLD SWALLOWED A NICKEL!

The Global Warming scam.

"Bandwagon" sportsfans (Fans who start rooting for a person or team because of their current success).

Liberal know-it-alls.

People who can't say "I don't know".

I'll stop for now, LOL! Thanks Loose! I feel much better now!!!

Heck, at Taco Bell, we don't have to be closing to get mad at customers when we have to do something for them...lol

I don't like drivers who fail to understand turn lanes and center lanes.

Here is a real goodie. In the mornings on my way to South, there is quite a big line of cars in the left lane trying to pull onto the school property. However, some students think they are special and they get in the right lane and expect people in the left lane to let them over so they can cut in line. Well, sorry, you'll have to hit me before I let you over!

Pseudo-religious people. I can't stand people who say they go to church and then come Monday--if they didn't lie about going to church--they become about as big of a hypocrite as you can get!

People who think they know everything. Now, I'll admit, I do have this problem on occasion. lol

People who sit behind you at a red light and expect you to race off as soon as it turns green.

Tailgaters.

Cops that speed without their lights and/or sirens on.

Moderators and admins on online forums who don't have a life and get their dose of "authority" by being a tyrannical despot/control freak because they don't have any control whatsoever in their real lives. Note: this doesn't apply to anyone on this forum, just a couple of other forums.

People who are fake.

Drunks that come through drive-thru at 1 am on Friday morning.

Customers who give you change and tell you keep the change when you want to throw it back at them but they drive off before you can because you aren't supposed to keep the change!!!!!

People who don't understand you can turn right on red unless it says you can't.

My mother when she tries to back out of the garage and feels the need to turn the wheel and back out sideways but she thinks she is going straight.

People when they don't respond to multiple emails. Especially when they ask for you to reply to their original message.

Well stated, Robbie. What gets me about the above is, the majority of smokers who toss their cigarette butts out the window don't even think they're littering.

A friend of mine since we were in grade-school, I've told her she's littering when I've seen her throw a cigarette down before entering a restaurant, going in Wal-Mart, out the window of her car, etc. - and she's told me throwing a cigarette out isn't littering. That it will burn itself out. I've told her that's true, except the filter will not burn and it won't break-down. She still doesn't "get it," but I'll keep on her until maybe one of these days she does.

"BugMan" you've hit the nail directly on the head. Two of my closest friends, to hear them say it, it's always either the coach or referee's fault when their sports teams lose.

It's kind of funny, but one night while on the computer and after hanging up from talkin' with one of my buddies, hearing him talk about how the "sorry referees" had cost one of his daughter's basketball team from winning their game, I wrote some lyrics titled "Those No-Call Sorry butt Referees" and e-mailed it to his work address.

He cracked up the next morning when reading the e-mail. Between he and I, it's kind of a running joke about the sorry basketball referees officiating games today. But it just doesn't end with him about basketball referees, his daughters' soccer officials are also "sorry." HA HA HA HA

One I hate the most is going through the check out line and the person behind you is so close to you that you cant get your items out of the cart. "Back up this is my space for a couple minutes"

People who drive in the passing lane like they dont know better.

People that wont get over in the middle lane to let someone merge in traffic.

People that let their kids run around and yell at restaurants or Wal Mart. I was in WM last week and there was a child about 2 or 3 years old and the person it was with was tickling it and it was laughing hysterically until it was so distracting I couldn't remember what I was shopping for.

People blowing their nose in a restaurant while others are eating makes me just want to throw my food away and stop eating.

If you've ever seen the movie "Waiting", that pretty much summed up everyone's attitude at McDonald's when I worked there.

Actually, in all honesty, the Taco Bell I work for does a great job with customer service. Sure, you've got your drinkers and pot smokers but when it comes time to making some tacos...tacos will be made! I love my job so far but I haven't had to ring up orders yet or clean the bathroom so that'll surely change!

Do you know what the Official Language of the United States of America actually is...?

NONE; the United States of America does NOT have an "official language", nor has there ever been an "official language" for this country.

You got that right. The other day, my buddy is a contractor and I rode with him to a job site. He has had the same Mexicans working for him for years, and i've got to know them pretty good going to the job sites, real good fellas. I asked Miguel if the inspector had been there yet, he said he didn't know, they pulled up as somebody was leaving. I asked what he looked like, he smiled and said "I don't know, all of you look the same". Smartass LOL. I do know some people from other countries that earn their way, like Miguel, and i'm fine with that. It's the ones getting free rides that makes me mad.

I also hate those drivers who drive in the left lane....ITS NOT A DRIVING LANE!

People who are too stupid to know that the merge ramp is so you can get up to  speed BEFORE entering the interstate.   Also if you do have to stop on the merge ramp, I hate those who are behind you on the ramp who think it is ok to pull out ahead of the first car on the ramp!

Those people who have let cell phones rule their live.....Surely a person can go to dinner or to Walmart WITHOUT talking on the cell phone .

Just a word of caution, be aware of her driving back and forth between Johnson City and Kingsport daily. LOL LOL LOL ... She's liable to spin you out. Dale Jr. ain't got nutthin' on her.

I generally avoid 181 at all costs. lol. Unless I feel like either getting rear ended or mowing down some people...or both. Gah! It feels like you are going soooo fast when you are on 181. Just going 60 gives my the feeling I'm about spin out when I take a turn. lol.

It's actually I-26 now. That's okay though, I get confused sometimes too.

You know, I was lucky enough to live in both Knoxville and Chattanooga although I am from Kingsport (the last part IS unforunate...just kidding). But I have NEVER had so much trouble memorizing roads and directions in Kingsport than either of those cities. I have no clue why.
