Any thoughts on this 16yr old out of Manteca CA?  He is the 2009 NASCAR National Rookie of the Year, Whelen All-American series.  I have seen him race a few times, and he looks like the real deal.  Rumor is he is racing Grand Natnl West, SRL and some Late models. Looking for some feedback.  Any comments would be welcomed.  Here is his website Link:  jacobgomes.com

I have googled jacob gomes racing and this kid is all over the place.  I was down at Irwindale last week, and he was the talk of the town.  first SRL race at Stockton, he should have won, he finished 8th, second race finishes 11th.  I know the're going to the bullring in Vegas at the end of the month, and from what the other drivers are saying, this kid can win it.

I am trying to get info on him.  Any help would greatly be appreciated.

thanks-

Vince

I watch the Camping World East and West races on SPEED Channel, and I'm familiar with Jacob Gomes. He is a pretty good young racer.

I recently watched the Stockton race, and man ... that's a small, tight bullring.
