I don't know if anyone notice, but former Kingsport Speedway track announcer, Phil Roberts, passed away last week. He might have been the first track announcer Kingsport had back in '65-'68. He was also a DJ for radio stations such as WGOC, WMCH, and WKIN just to name a few. He had retired and was living in Winter Haven Fla. He was 77.

Phil was also the first DJ for Lebanon's WLRV AM 1380 when it first went on the air in the 70's.
