Yes, all of the same rules apply for the season finale at Homestead. The only difference is that there will only be 4 eligible competitors remaining.
I am currently developing a slightly revamped Chase format for our 2016 season. I am running the results through a mock version of this proposed system to be used next season.
In this version, there would be a points reset after each cutoff event that would rank competitors in terms of their current points position. Also, I am toying on an idea that would give a FREE PASS entry into the next round to a still-eligible Chase competitor who is the ONLY competitor to select the correct winner for the event. If 2 or more Chase competitors pick the winner, no FREE PASS will be rewarded.
