KINGSPORT, Tenn. — Race fans, you don't want to miss the season-ending Robert Pressley Invitational $2,000-to-win Friends of Coal - We Support Coal Miners 125 on Saturday, Oct. 19 at Kingsport Speedway. The race winner will also take home a grandfather clock valued at over $3,000, along with a special champion's trophy.

This event should undoubtedly produce the biggest field of Late Model Stocks since the track reopened in 2011 for weekly racing.

The NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Late Model Stocks will headline the racing program running 125 green-flag laps, along with Pure 4 and Legends action. Plus, there will be a stunt show with attempts at driving a street vehicle around "The Concrete Jungle" balanced on just two wheels.

Additional money is being offered by Jeff's Auto Sales of Leicester, N.C, the "Back to the Front Challenge" to the Late Model Stock pole winner. Should they choose to start at rear of the field and win the race, they will collect a $1,000 bonus. Also, finishing position contingencies will be awarded to all 30 starting positions in the main event.

The pit gate opens Saturday, Oct. 19 at 11 a.m., with the grandstands and tier-parking gates opening at 5 p.m.

Late Model Stock practice is scheduled from 1:30 p.m.- 3:30 p.m., to be followed by support class practice from 3:40 p.m. - 4:20 p.m.

The drivers' meeting will take place at 4:30 p.m., with qualifying set for 5:15 p.m. After the invocation and national anthem at 6:30 p.m., the stunt show will begin at 6:45 p.m. to be followed by green-flag racing action.

Adult grandstand admission $15 (or, bring a friend and two adult tickets for $25), with kids 11-and-under admitted free. Adult tier-parking admission $15 per person (or, bring a friend and two adult tickets for $25 - plus a $10 vehicle tier-parking spot fee). Pit passes are $25 with a NASCAR license, $35 without a license.

Tell your family, friends, neighbors and co-workers all about the exciting, action-packed racing at Kingsport Speedway. You don't want to miss it!
