Virginia’s Wythe Raceway Returns with FASTRAK for the 11th Consecutive Year in 2014
**FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE** November 18th, 2013 FASTRAK PR
(Carnesville, Georgia) – FASTRAK Racing Series dignitaries are very excited to report that the ½ mile Wythe Raceway located off I-81 in the “Commonwealth” of Virginia is on board to sanction their weekly Pro Late models programs for 2014. This will also mark the 11th consecutive year since the inception of the first ever crate late model series program in the country. The Wythe Raceway located in Rural Retreat, Virginia has been in operation for 40+ years in run by Fred and Susan Brown. The 2013 FASTRAK Weekly Pro Late Models champion was #14 Lance Reynolds who won also 3 races. There we’re a total of 10 different winners in 2013. That shows the great competition on a weekly basis in the crate program under FASTRAK at Wythe Raceway.
“I cannot find anyone else that stands behind the racers and the tracks like Stan Lester and FASTRAK does.” commented Fred Brown. “They take care of everyone and are truly the best when it comes to offering a great incentive to the drivers on a weekly basis. The bottom line Stan Lester’s creation has saved late model racing 11 years ago and even though there is so much other competitors out there FASTRAK is still the best for touring/weekly tracks. No other sanctioning body can offer the great payout in some many different levels and cap off the season with an awesome points fund when it’s said and done. I’m really looking forward to the 2014 race season again under FASTRAK with our crate late model teams.” concluded Mr. Brown.
Wythe Raceway will be running the FASTRAK Weekly Late Models in 2014 and will in addition host tentatively two FASTRAK City Chevrolet Southeast Touring Division events. One in May – Memorial Day part of the Southeast Triple Crown and the Labor Day 2014 11th Pro Late Models Nationals.
